About us
Hello there!
We are your hosts, and owners of Mauna Lani, Tida House and Suiba Café.
We are sticking to original handmade. We built every single part of it with our hands from the process.
We hope many more guests from all over the worlds will stay and enjoy in our handmade cottage.
And it will be so great to share the stories of different culture and life.
We’re looking forward to welcoming you!

Welcome to Okhotsk!
Okhotsk is home to beautiful, unspoiled nature. You can enjoy the beautiful flower gardens of the Abashiri-Shari and Engaru-Monbetsu areas in spring and autumn. You can also enjoy the splendid scenery of the Shiretoko National Park and have exciting experiences there throughout the year.
However, the really great adventure happens from early February to late March, when the drift ice reaches the coastline of Okhotsk, during that period, you can take the icebreaker ship cruises in the frozen sea to see the drift ice up close.
There are plenty of experiences you can have in the area. From May to October, you'll be just a 90-minute car trip away from getting on a whale watching tour. If you're not keen on boats, you can visit Abashiri Prison, Japan’s once most feared prison or spend a day exploring around Lake Akan, where you can enjoy hot springs and spectacular views. Ainu Kotan, the villages of the Ainu people, indigenous to Hokkaido, will show you a part of Japan that's not often seen.
